Good breath support is essential for Gospel singers to deliver powerful and dynamic performances. While the soulful spirituals often do not rely on challenging vocal leaps or runs, they are intense performances that require a loud, resonant sound.

The first track is the complete track with music and vocals. The second track is only the vocal part and the drums. You can hear clearly each part when the music is seperated out. Listen to the vocal track for study. It would be great if it's the last thing of the day as you are falling off to sleep tonight. Also in the morning you want to listen again as many times as possible.
Saturday we will concentrate on the new songs for Easter, Let's Celebrate and It Wasn't the Nails. We should have enough time. I'm also posting Lord Prepare Me to Be a Sanctuary in case you are not familiar with this one.
Be prepared for the hymn O Worship the king and chant Breathe on Me Breath of God. They both can be found on last week's practice here. We will focus on the arrangement of the songs. I did not post Blessed Assurance assuming that we know the hymn. Please practice each song paying close attention to the format.
